Mumunting lihim is a film that is based on comradeship. This film is my favorite of all since it’s the film that I can relate to. The film wants to convey the pain of losing a friend, a friend that you don’t treat as a friend, but a family member as well. The death of Judy Ann test their friendship since Judy Ann left journals of her- The journals contain lots of concealed truth that is hidden for many years and the journal also illustrates the negative traits of each member of the group.
Though the diaries have spilled the innermost secrets of each individuality, in the end the truth keeps them altogether. Despite the flaws of each, characters have accepted and embrace the imperfections and began to cherish the company of each other.
In reality, friends are different. We have to accept that nobody is perfect, and we have to learn to accept who they are. the movie’s profound message made me realize that we all have a friend that will make us feel safe and secure, someone that will always be there on your side, regardless of what obstacle you encounter. There’s a friend that will care resemble as a long lost sister- and God sent that friend to mold us according to who we are today.
The Mumunting lihim never fail to make the audience feel the essence of friendship matters.
